Titled "Buông", the debut EP draws from a word dear to Anh Phi mother's heart, meaning “to let go” in Vietnamese, echoing resilience, impermanence, and the intergenerational dichotomy of both forced and privileged migrations. It was composed in constant transition across borders, East and West, underlaid by paradigm shifts and diasporic discourses. Anh Phi’s "Buông" is a visceral exploration, inward and outward.

Multilayered metropolises, primal tribal, global borderless club mutations, Nam Cát Tiên biosphere, cinematic plots, twists & cliffhangers… “OI” — timeline collapses, equanimity, transmutation, mess & order —, “Ạ” — memories lost in translation, testimonies, mother tongue & alien tongue, morphed bikes, arpeggio birds —, “()” — breaths, autonomous sensory meridian response, childhood reminiscence, body movements, play —, “Ừ” — soil, light, wind, bells, rite, propelling to space…

It all converges at the intersection of uncertainty and clarity, where no answer is given yet sparse ingredients are digested.
Systems and beliefs reset to the unknown.
Mining an unreal epoch.
In between spaces yet to be discovered.
Swarm of flying beings diving into new lights.
